The much awaited 23rd Annual Sports Day was held on 27 march 2019 in Anjuman ground for boys and for girls in Anjuman women’s college, with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere.
The programme began with the recitation of holy Quran by Mr. Zayeem BCA first year student and it was continued by Principal Mr. MOHAMMED MOHSIN K welcoming the esteemed gathering and emphasized on the importance of sports. Mr.Usama Ashraf BBA 3RDYear student introduced the chief guest of the event Mr. Syed Sameer Sakkaf (Senior manager DU telecom, UAE). Chief guest spoke about the importance of sports in our life. Followed by the Presidential remarks by Mr. Mohammed Mohsin Shabandari.
The students entered into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way with the oath being administered by the Sports Secretary Mr. Mohammed Salman. Students of classes BBA/BCA 1ST 2ND and 3RD year students competed in events including out 100 meter race , 200 meter race, 400m race, relays, shot put, javelin throw, long jump, high jump etc. Janab Siddique Ismail Saheb general secretary, Janab Ishaq Shabandari Saheb Additional general secretary and Janab Aftab Qamri Secretary professional colleges honored the gathering by their presence. At last the event was concluded with vote of thanks by Mr. Usman Mulla.
