During these testing times of COVID-19 pandemic, the management, staff and the student council of Anjuman Institute of Management and Computer Applications in association with Taluka Hospital Shirali, Bhatkal managed to organise a one day vaccination drive for the staff and students in view of their safety against the corona virus.
The vaccination drive was held in the campus of AIMCA on 28th of July, 2021. Around 200 people, which included staff and students of AIMCA along with few students and teachers from other colleges were given the first dose of Covishield COVID vaccine.
As the vaccination drive began, all the students were seated in the waiting room. Students were sent two at a time in the vaccination room to get vaccinated. They were later asked to rest in the observation room for about an hour.
We are glad to have successfully organised the vaccination programme in our college as a team, proving to be great support for one another. We are also thankful to the management of AIMCA and the Taluka Hospital Shirali for their cooperation and coordination.
