It gives me immense pleasure to extend a cordial welcome to all for the 22nd Annual day celebration of Anjuman Institute of Management & Computer Application Bhatkal. I deem it an honour and feel privileged to place before you a brief report of our institution for the academic year 2017– 2018.
Our classes commenced from 05.06.2017 & Orientation Programme was organised for BBA & BCA 1styear students from 05.06.2017 to 06.06.2017 in which they were briefed about the course. On 30 th of July 2017 the senior students had a unique way of inviting & introducing the “Fresher’s”, so that a friendly environment is built in the college.
To cope up with the global challenges the budding managers have uphill tasks. To overcome these challenges the students should be equipped with the essential managerial skills like Leadership, Effective Communication, Analytical skills etc.
In this regard, soft skills like Group Discussions, Debates, Case Analysis and Seminars are taught apart from normal classroom teaching.

Our Results

Our students have shown excellent performance in university examinations. The BCA final year students of 2016– 17 achieved 80% results with 4 Distinctions, 7 First Class. Miss. Ramla SibtainKochebapu secured distinction with 91.87% and BBA final year students of 2016 – 17 achieved 93.75% results with 11 Distinctions, 14 First Class. Miss. Qurratul Ain Mushtaque secured Distinction with 93.17%.

Our Benevolent Management has honoured them with a cash prize of Rs. 1000/- each for achieving a perfect score in respective subjects.

Student’s Participation:
Our student Mr. Ibrahim Shuaib of BCA I year has participated in National Cadet Corps (NCC). He has been designated as cadet and he has participated in Independence day and Republic day March-past.
Our students had attended one day state level seminar on “Entrepreneurial Innovation and Taxation Recent Trends in Indian Business Scenario” on 4th February 2018 in Anjuman Degree College & PG Centre Bhatkal.
Activities in college:
In the month of December 2017, BBA II Year and Final Year students were on 30 days inplant training in the various industries.
Annual social gathering is most awaited and regular events of our institute, in view of this gathering we conduct extracurricular activities indoor, outdoor competitions, like carrom, chess, badminton, table tennis, cricket etc.
On 2nd of January, 2018 we had organised a PRE-UNQUE Fest for PUC students. The Chief Guest for the inauguration function was Mrs. Aysha Khanum Chief Executive Bhatkal.
In which 401 students of puc had participated from various colleges across Bhatkal.
On its eve various events like Enquesta, Lone wolf, Cuisenfew, War of Words. Treasure Hunt were conducted.
We had organized a intra college fest named as TALENTINE V2.0 2K18 on 1 march on its eve various events like chestionare, Business plan, Big draw, cooking and table decor and the winners of the events are as follows:

A Team of 9 students from Bba and Bca respectively had participated in ARCANA 18 a state level management fest for ug held at department of management studies , AITM Bhatkal.
Industrial Visit:
- Staff & Students of our college had been to Ganesh soap Factory Shirali, Lucky Noodles Bhatkal & Oasis water industries Sarpanakatte on 1st February 2018 where students had a practical exposure of how work takes place in the industries & the problems faced by the Entrepreneur.
Sports:
Students of our college have always proved their efficiency and have brought great laurels to our college with their splendid performance in sports under the guidance of our college Physical Director Mr. Mohan Mesta.
- Mr. Tameem Hamdhan Khan from BCA I year has secured 2nd place in Shot put at Taluk Level Dasara Sports.
- Mr. Ameer Basha from BBA III year has secured 1st place in 110 Mtr. Hurdles at Taluk Level Dasara Sports.
- It gives an immense honour to convey that two of our students have been named as KUD University Blue players in football. We are very much privilege to have amongst us Mr. Musteen Alam from BBA III year & Mohammed Akhyaar BBA II Year. They were awarded from Bhatkal Sports Academy for the academic year 2017-18. Honourable management has awarded them with a cash price of Rs. 5000/- each
We are proud to convey that student from our college have secured runner up position in KUD single zone swimming competition held at Govt First college Ranibennur.
- Mr. Abdul Haque of BBA III year has secured 2 Gold Medals in 4*100 Mtr. Free style & Medlay Relay. Honourable management has awarded him with a cash price of Rs. 4000/-.
- Mr. Syed Ifham SJ of BBA III year has secured Silver Medal in 400 Mtr. Butter fly & Gold Medal in 4*100 Mtr. free style Relay. Honourable management has awarded him with a cash price of Rs. 3000/-.
- Mr. Suhem Mohtesham of BBA II year has secured Bronze medal in 1500 Mtr. Free style, Silver medal in 4*100 Mtr. Individual medlay & 2 gold medals in 4*100 Mtr. Free style & medlay relay. Honourable management has awarded him with a cash price of Rs. 5500/-.
- Mr. Ismail Sawood Gawai of BBA II Year has secured Bronze medal in 500 Mtr. Butter fly & Silver Medal in 100 Mtr. Butter fly & 2 Gold medals in 4*100 Mtr Free style & Medlay relay. Honourable management has awarded him with a cash price of Rs. 5500/-.
- Mr. Mohammed Salman of BBA II Year has secured 3 Silver medals in 50 Mtr. Back stroke, 100 Mtr. Back stroke & 200 Mtr. Back stroke & he has secured 2 gold medals in 4*100 Mtr. Free style & Medlay relay. Honourable management has awarded him with a cash price of Rs. 7000/-.
- Mr. Mohan Mesta – Physical Director has been selected as a Selection Committee member for Table Tennis & Foot Ball Team for KUD.
ATHLETIC MEET
We have conducted Athletic Meet on 24th January 2018 at Anjuman Sports Ground Bhatkal. The Chief Guest for the Athletic Meet was Prof. Yusuf Kola Principal of Anjuman Pre University College Bhatkal who inaugurated the Athletic Meet 2017-18 by hosting the college Flag. The General Championship Prize was bagged by Mr.Ameer Basha BBA Final Year.

Library:
We have a well-furnished and full-fledged library, sorted out syllabically and has knowledge based requirement for the students. There is a collection of 2414 books in BBA and 835 books for BCA. 9 periodicals and 5 newspapers ranging from topics like Current Affair to Modern technology in English and Kannada languages are delivered to our college on a regular basis. The books in total are worth of Rs. 9 lakhs.
Computer Lab:
In addition to all above, we even possess a high tech computer lab. Our lab comprises of 30 computers with latest configurations and internet facility for the students who are inclined towards e-learning.

I also extend my heartfelt thanks to my staff, invitees, parents and dear students for their co-operation. Dear Students infuse your life with action. Don’t wait it to happen. Make it happen. Make your own future, hope, love. Whatever you believes honour your creator, not by passively waiting for grace to come down from upon high, but by doing what you can to make grace happen. Last but not the least, I convey my wishes and good luck to our outgoing students and I would like to wish them every success in their future endeavours.
