Anjuman Institute of Management and computer Application celebrate its 23rd annual day

Anjuman Hami-E-Muslimeen’s Anjuman Institute of Management and Computer Application (AIMCA) organised its 23rd annual day on Monday April 8, here at the college campus. The program began with recitation of versus from Holy Qur’an by Mr. Shuraim followed by a Naat voiced by Shamshunnisa Barmawar.

After welcoming and introducing the chief guest, college Principal Mohammed Mohsin K presented the annual report of the college for the academic year.Chief guest for the event, Dr.B.B. Biradar, Assistant Professor at Karnatak College, Dharwad addressed the gathering and stressed students to add value to the marks in academics by developing the skills. “Only topping the exams is not important, developing the skills to face challenges ahead is also equally important for a better career” he said.

Guest of honour Ahmed Qamar Merchant, I.T Project Manager, Muscat Clearing & Depository Sultanate of Oman also addressed the gathering and said, “The world is evolving very quickly. It is the era of digitalization; we need to keep pace with the world in order to ensure better careers. The recruiters mainly look at our proficiency on what job we are applying and select the students on the basis of their skills”. During the event, BBA final year student Mohammed Salman was feliciated for being University Blue in Swimming. While University ranks holders including Qurratul Ain Shaikh, Mariam Hira, Anzaf Damudi and Mohammed Salman were award with a cash price of Rs. 10,000. Meanwhile, several other students were also awarded with cash prize and trophies for their achievements in sports and other co-curricular activities.

General Secretary Ismail Siddique, College Secretary Aftab Qamri, college students and others were present during the event.
